“Oliver’s on the Beach is a friendly, family-run cafe, which provides beautiful views of Southend estuary – even in the winter months! Open seven days a week, breakfast is served between 9am – 11.30am and the lunch service starts at 12pm, ending at 3pm on all weekdays and 4pm on the weekend.
“The team at Oliver’s aims to provide seasonal, homemade food for all customers to enjoy and they don’t take reservations, so all walk in customers are welcome. And for those of you wondering about the name… yes, there is a connection with that famous Essex chef Jamie. It was Jamie’s aunt, Marianne Leggett, his uncle, Colin Oliver, and Colin’s partner, Tina Gibbs, that refurbished the former KJ’s kiosk, turning it into a café back in 2015.
“PS It’s worth knowing that while they don’t serve alcohol themselves, they ARE happy for you to bring your own….”
