“After years of working in London offices, the two friends behind Frank and Luna’s have finally realised their dream of opening their very own cafe in their home town of Westcliff-on-Sea. With their young daughters (Frank and Luna!) as their inspiration to build their own little business and create an environment of relaxation and fun for all, surrounded by delicious treats.

“The idea for our cafe came about one sunny afternoon. They talked about how they wanted to offer people quality (and where possible) local food and tasty coffee in a welcoming environment.

“Now Frank & Luna’s is a coffee shop with a difference – selling fresh seasonal produce, all made in house or locally with love. The delicious fair trade organic coffee is supplied by a roastery based in Essex, who deal with ethical importers, working directly with farmers. They also offer a selection of dishes, some vegan-friendly, as well as the best sausage sarnie in town! The relaxed and happy atmosphere reflects their aim as business owners and as mums. They also aim to be as eco-friendly as possible, always recycling and consciously trying to incorporate ways of working that reduce their carbon footprint, use of plastics and, of course, support other local businesses at the same time!

“The menu is designed to minimise waste and they offer a discount to anyone with reusable cups.

“In short, Frank and Luna’s couldn’t be much more family-friendly if it tried!”
