In 1985, Ian and Sandy Johnson bought the Woodman Inn and moved in with their sons Andrew (then aged 4) and Stuart (then aged 1). Ian and Sandy had many happy years at the pub until their retirement in 2010. The pub still today prides itself on its warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and great food and drink making it a lovely place to relax.
The Woodman Inn is very family-friendly and as well as having baby changing, high chairs and an extensive kids menu they also have table activities to keep your little ones busy, and a big, outside play area.
