Stretching your Easter budget further has never looked so easy. From supermarket cafés to big-name restaurant chains, there are plenty of places where little ones can tuck in for free – or close to it – while you enjoy a sit-down meal.
Supermarket café savers
At Asda Cafés, kids can eat for £1 all day, every day, with no adult minimum spend – choose from hot meals or a cold pick-and-mix plate. Dobbies Garden Centres run a £1 kids’ deal when you order an adult breakfast or main, with the offer available daily until 11.30am for breakfast and again between 12pm and 3pm. Over at Dunelm Pausa Cafés, children eat free all day with every £4 spent in the café, including a kids’ main, drink and two snacks. Morrisons Cafés also keep it simple: one free kids’ meal when an adult spends £5 or more on a main, any day of the week. Tesco is offering one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal in the Easter break (excluding weekends) with any adult purchase when they scan their Tesco Clubcard. Sainsbury’s Cafes offer a “Kids Eat for £1” deal during the Easter holidays (and school holidays). One child can eat a hot main meal or lunch bag for £1 with the purchase of an adult hot main meal costing over £5.20, starting from 11.30am daily.
