A farm to fork pub and restaurant. Being a small, family run team The Duck on the Pond prides themselves on creating a home from home atmosphere. There’s always a reason to visit, from the cosy and calm interiors with roaring log burner in the winter, to the kitchen garden and outside space to dine in the summer. They choose local and sustainable suppliers and grow their own in the kitchen garden. There’s a fixed price menu – Wednesday to Saturday featuring favourite dishes. Friendly co-owner Julie was keen to mention that while there is only baby changing in the ladies’ loos (because of space restraints in the men’s) the team are happy to check the loos first if dads need to change baby in a separate ladies’ cubicle.
